Build-A-Bear

My mom & dad bought each of the kids a Build-A-Bear gift card for Christmas this year.  They couldn't wait to go spend it the day after Christmas.  We had SO MUCH FUN.
They each got to pick out a bear/animal to stuff, bathe, dress, & adopt.  If you've never been to
Build-A-Bear, you've got to go at least once in your life.  It's pricy, but worth it.

First the kids each picked an animal to be their new friend & had them specially stuffed to the softness they liked most.

After they stuff the bears/animals, the kids each pick out a little heart, kiss it, & make a wish on it.  Then they place it inside their bears.  Finally, the bears get sewn up & become your new squeezable friends.

After you have your new friend, you take them to the bath tub & bathe them & brush their fur until they are nice & soft & ready to be loved.

Then you get to pick out the perfect outfit for your stuffed animal.

Lorien chose a Rapunzel costume for her new
pretty white bear (with lights).

Bladen chose a pirate costume for his grey bear.

Taya got a tinkerbell costume for her new blue bunny.

Craiger picked out a Woody costume for his
little Monkey friend.

and Cadence picked out a pink snowflake
bear dressed in a winter coat & ice skates.

The kids LOVE their new friends.  Thank you Mimi & Baba for a wonderful gift the kids will never forget.

Lo's bear is really cool.  You push it's hand &
it light's up with LED lights INSIDE the bear.
Very cool if I do say so myself.
