Monster Claws & Cheese Ghosts

This is an all time favorite recipe in our house.  If you are a fan of Chick-Fil-A chicken nuggets, this is the same recipe they use in their restaurants.  It's the best breading recipe I've ever used & we make it all the time.  For our family of 8 we double this recipe. . .

Monster Claws:
1.5 pounds chicken cut into nuggets or strips
1 egg
1 cup flour
2.5 Tablespoons powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 Tablespoon salt
oil for frying

Cut your chicken into nuggets or strips (if you want monster claw looking chicken).  Mix egg & milk in a bowl.  Put chicken slices in milk mixture & let sit for at least 5 minutes.  Mix flour, sugar, pepper, & salt in another bowl.  Heat oil.  Dip wet chicken into dry ingredients & coat.  Dip back into the milk/egg mixture & then back again into the dry ingredients (double coated).  Fry until brown & cooked through.

Like I said before, these are AMAZING.  They are delicious!  Your family will love them.

Spider Web Dipping Sauce:

ketchup & mustard

Fill a small bowl with ketchup.  Squeeze mustard into 3 circles around the ketchup.  Using a toothpick, pull the mustard from the center circle all the way out to the edge & through the other two circles.  Do this 5 or 6 times until you get a spider web effect.

Cheese Ghosts:

string cheese & a Sharpie

For these, just draw a ghost face on your string cheese.  Easy peasy.
