It's been a blast having Bladen in scouts. He's always learning new things & impressing me with this new knowledge. In November he got to participate in a raingutter regatta. He got to build a boat all by himself & then race it down a raingutter by blowing into it's sails.
He didn't win any races, but watching the other boats taught us what more we can do next year to make his boat faster. He had a blast.
But the best part of the whole night was watching Bladen race his boat against Trek & a rubber duck. Trek didn't make it very far blowing that rubber duck. Bladen's boat smoked him. ha ha ha.
I'm glad Bladen has had such a wonderful opportunity to be a part of the boy scout program. He's having a blast & he's learning SO much. I'm proud of him.
